The Heartland Health & Wellness Fund office provides health benefits and eligibility information to our Plan Participants, and their families. The Fund also provides information on claims status, enrollment, appeals, pension, wellness resources offered through the TOTAL HEALTH programs, and retiree plans. The main function of the Fund office is to process and make payment on PPO medical, dental, vision and Sick Leave claims.

The Fund office is required under the Federal Health Insurance Portability Act of 1996, known as HIPAA, to take reasonable steps to ensure the privacy of your individually identifiable health information. All transactions are processed in a secure environment to protect the confidentiality of the Plan Participant and their family members.
